"The Electric Vehicle (EV) sector is rapidly emerging as a cornerstone of India’s green mobility mission. As EV adoption accelerates, there is a pressing need for a skilled workforce capable of supporting the entire ecosystem—from manufacturing and battery technology to charging infrastructure and after-sales service. This session will explore the key skill areas needed in the EV value chain, such as electrical engineering, power electronics, battery management systems, vehicle diagnostics, and safety protocols. It will highlight industry-led training models, academic partnerships, and government initiatives aimed at building EV-specific talent pipelines. The objective is to identify actionable strategies to upskill both existing automotive workers and new entrants, ensuring India is equipped to lead in the global EV revolution."
