"Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) have long been the foundation of vocational education in India, yet they must now evolve to meet the demands of a rapidly changing workforce. With the rise of automation, emerging industries, and digital transformation, there's an urgent need to redesign the ITI ecosystem to remain relevant, agile, and aspirational. This session will explore strategies for modernizing ITIs through updated curricula, integration of new-age technologies, industry partnerships, and improved infrastructure. It will also discuss pathways for making ITI education more inclusive, employment-linked, and aligned with both local opportunities and global standards. The objective is to transform ITIs into future-ready hubs of skill excellence that not only serve the traditional trades but also lead in innovation and entrepreneurship."
